CUSTOMER ELIGIBILITY
- The customer MUST be between the ages of 18 and 65 to rent and drive the vehicle.
- The customer MUST be in possession of a valid Malaysian or international driver’s licence. While operating the vehicle, the customer is strictly prohibited from committing any criminal act, whether intentionally or unintentionally.
- The customer MUST have at least one year of legitimate driving experience.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
- The customer must present a copy of their driver’s license, identification card, or passport, along with a utility bill and/or business card (if any)
RENTAL RATE COVERS
- Accidental damage to third-party property is not covered by the rental fee. The customer is always responsible for the full amount that does not exceed RM1,500 which is the clause’s excess, per commercial insurance practise.
- In addition to rental fees, the customer must provide a security deposit of RM100 in cash or via online banking as a guarantee of proper vehicle use during the rental period. On the date of return, the customer will receive a refund of the security deposit after the vehicle has been inspected and determined to be free of additional defects.
RATES EXCLUDE
- The insurance does not cover damage caused by negligence, punctured or blown tyres, fuel errors, lack of electricity due to forgetfulness in turning off electrical devices, or loss or damage to vehicle accessories.
- The customer is reminded that undercarriage and overhead damage are always their responsibility. All coverage is null and void if the vehicle is driven on unpaved and/or uneven roads and/or surfaces.
- The contracted rate does not include the cost of fuel, tolls (cash, Smart TAG, or Touch ‘n Go), a Singapore permit, and other fees.
PARKING FEE(S) AND TRAFFIC FINE(S)
- During the rental period, the customer is responsible for any parking and/or traffic fines and/or fees incurred.
- The customer will be charged an additional RM50 for each summons paid by the Company.
CUSTOMER’S RESPONSIBILITIES
- The customer is responsible for returning the vehicle for maintenance and service. Once the vehicle reaches 5,000 kilometres, it must be returned for service and maintenance. Any vehicle damage resulting from delayed maintenance will be the customer’s responsibility.
- The client is responsible for making monthly rental payments at the beginning of the contracted delivery date and the sequential date of the following month, or prior to the sequential date of the following month. If payment is not received by the due date, the Company reserve the right to cancel the rental agreement.
RENTAL EXTENSION
- The customer is permitted to extend the rental period if the Company permits it. The customer must request the extension by notifying the Company two days prior to the contract’s expiration date. In the event that the Company is not notified, the contract will be terminated and the customer will be charged an additional daily fee after returning the vehicle.
BOOKING CANCELLATION
- The booking deposit is non-refundable unless the reservation is cancelled seven days or more prior to the reserved date.
DRIVING RESTRICTION
- It is strictly prohibited for a rented vehicle to leave Peninsular Malaysia.
LOCATION
- Both the customer’s residence or place of business and final destination must be accurate. In the event of fraud based on the provided information, the agreement will be terminated immediately and no refunds will be given.
VEHICLE CONDITION
- The vehicle must be in the same condition as when the customer first received it. The customer will be responsible for the cost of repairing any damage that occurs after the vehicle has been delivered.
PROHIBITED GOODS
- All prohibited items, including illegal CDs, VCDs, DVDs, drugs, alcohol, etc., as well as odorous items, are strictly prohibited from being transported in the vehicle (e.g., durian, fish, salted fish, trash, etc.). * The customer is responsible for all costs associated with odour removal, including air conditioning service and lost vehicle operational hours.
BREACHING CONTRACT
- In the event that the customer violates any of the stated terms and conditions, the customer will be responsible for the total cost of compensating the loss incurred by the company.
